My first fitting is about two months before my wedding. Not sure if that's the norm for everyone.
I have heard so many different time schedules. I had my first fitting last week and the next and final one is June 4.
My wedding was april 22 and my first fitting was feb 28, and thank goodness I did it then b/c you loose stress weight and at the last minute they had to take in more and it was ready just in time, you should have your dress done and in possesion at least 14 days before your wedding- pressed and cleaned too. hope that helps- those last 2 weeks FLY and the last thing you want to do is a fitting. you will be meeting with vendors like crazy in the last 2 weeks.
Im getting married september 17th and my first fitting actually isnt until the beginning of august. But my dress fits me almost perfectly so the alternations that need to be done are minimal!
i would say the end of June beginning of July
I'm not get married until October and they told me to call in August for my first fitting. When I went to try on my dress it fit perfectly too, but I'm changing the sleeves a little bit, so they have a little extra work to do!
The 1st fitting is about 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
