I went for my first offical fitting today! All I need is a bustle and a hem BUT now I want the bottom of my dress to be fuller so they put me in a slip. I didnt like it at all...it felt hot and it filled out the dress too much! I still love me dress though! I went with the underneath bustle. I think its called a french bustle. I love it! I feel like a goddess in my dress!!
Did you ever consider an 'invisible bustle' with this dress? I have a similar style dress and the store manager told me I should go with that. I haven't had any fittings (my dress isn't ready) so I don't know what I'll end up doing with my bustle.. but I was just wondering.

I tried to look is up as well to post a pic and I got nothing!
From my understanding, an invisible bustle would basically tuck all the material under the dress so the fold of the bustle would align with the front and sides of your hem. It's supposed to give the illusion that you don't even have a train bustled, but rather that your dress is just perfectly hemmed all the way around. The manager at the bridal shop I purchased my dress at said that it takes 20 hooks to get this done.
