FMIL neglects to tell us that FH cousin sent us an invite to her house for her DH surprise 30th birthday on vday.....I knew she was having a surprise party, but I thought it was just a very small partyyyyyyyyy since she never mentioned it again and I never got an invite. NOW FMIL calls me and asks me what I got for the party and what I am wearing.......I said WHAT!?!?! Ohhhhhhh I forgot to tell you that your names were on the invites....FMIL has already RSVP'd for us......
I just called FH and he said we should just not go if I don't want to........now I feel like an azzzzzzz NOT going but wth?!?!?!
luckily its an afternoon party but still!! she doesn't see how its a big deal......wellllllllll when plans are made for vday weekend, it is a big deal lady

That is ridiculous!!! Its bad enought forgetting to tell you that the invite got to her house but RSVPing for you?!?!?!?!? That is just way too much. Decide what you two want to do and just do it. You need to do what you guys want and will be happy with. If that means not going just explain to the host that you were never told and you had already made plans you couldn´t get out of!!
