I'm looking to buy a new flat iron. Mine is getting old and I want something that works a little bit better (I'm currently using the Remington Wet2Straight). I'd like to try and spend no more than $120. I'm considering the Chi right now- any thoughts on that?
Thanks!

I replaced my wet2straight with a Chi that I bought for $120 a few years back, I love it! They sell them at BJ's for about $70 though

I have been using the Chi for a couple of years and the difference between anything i've had before that is unbelievable!! It gets your hair so super straight in the fraction of the time. I love it and would definitely recommend it!

I can't live without my chi. I have two the 1/2 inch and 1 inch. It's the best for all types of hair! I def. recc. getting a chi, especially since the prices have come down recently.

GHD!!!!! It's amazing. It's pretty expensive; however, I got a great deal on ebay. I would try ebay for it...if not, the retail price is pretty redic.

Soliel! AWESOME ONE!!! It's like $80.
I have straight hair... and I love it. But my friend who is Puerto Rican and has thick curly hair ... uses it ALL THE TIME!! And her hair comes out straighter than mine! She does hers piece by piece! This straightner works WONDERS!!! It's amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! Same friend.. she used to work at a salon and she's used the CHI one before. She likes that too.. but she likes this one much better.
Also, the CHI hair syrum is AWESOME!!!

I think the GHD is by far the best flat iron and worth the investment (but its more than you wanted to spend).
I think the next best is the Sedu. Its better than the Chi, for me anyway. My hair is VERY thick and wavy - so depending on what kind of hair you have. The Chi is a good iron, but I would get the Sedu or Solia first. I have had MANY flat irons in my day!

I would recommend the Chi (its awesome) or I have a steam powered flat iron my Maximus that is really awesome too...doesn't dry out my hair.

I love mine! I use the Tourmaline T3 flatiron that is 1 3/4'. It should run you about $140.

CHI is great -- mine lasted already 4 years! Still straightening my wavy hair!
