I'm looking to buy a new flat iron. Mine is getting old and I want something that works a little bit better (I'm currently using the Remington Wet2Straight). I'd like to try and spend no more than $120. I'm considering the Chi right now- any thoughts on that?
Thanks!

I replaced my Remington with the MaxiGlide and I love it! It's about $80 dollars.

Thanks for all the reccomendations. I'm leaning towards the Chi since it seems to be the most popular

I had a chi, but it didnt last very long. It wasgreat, but I was disappointed when it broke.I bought a T3 Tourmaline straightener more than 5 yrs ago and it's awesome. It's more than the Chi, but comes with a lifetime warranty (or it east it did when I bought it)

I have the Chi, the original 1', and love it. They have a lifetime warranty so just be sure to keep the box. I've had mine for like 3 years and it still works great.
I had a Hot Tools but they're only ceramic coated and they each only lasted a year or so.
BTW Ulta almost ALWAYS has Chi flat irons on sale. They've come down in price quite a bit; you should be able to get one for around $100. I also use it with the Chi Silk Infusion serum and together I have awesome results. It smells nice too.

Try BaByliss, It works awesome on my hair which is super thick and has a bit of a natural wave. I have used the wet2dry, and this one will cut your straightening time in half. It's great. My hair salon uses this brand too. On sale on this site for $130 right now, plus free shipping.
