flights to islands in hawaii

hey girls I think we may go to hawaii for our honeymoon but was wondering how do you get from one island to the next??? and how long does it take

there are very short inter island flights... i think like 30-40 min

They are very short. The planes are small. I remember walking outside to get to them and then going through the back door of the plane. I have been to 3 of the islands and I def. think you need to see more than one island while you are there.

thanks girls...I am just reallly having a hard time with this honeymoon only going for like 10 day so wanna make sure I have enough time for things...

The flights are short - I think the longest one is 45 minutes. Just be careful, because not all inter-island flights are direct so if you are going from say Kauai to Maui, you may have to go to Oahu first.

Also, remember that you still have to go through security at the airport, so that does add to the travel time.

You will have plenty of time to do 2 islands in 10 days though.

We went there for 10 days also. We did 3 islands-Oahu, Maui and Kuaui....to get to the other islands you take a mini-flight like the girls said, 30 minutes or so. Your travel agent can book those for you if you are using one, or you can easily book them yourself if you aren't. You will love it!!!!!

someone mentioned that when you take the inter-island flights to make sure you arrive when they tell you to bc you won't make it....if they tell you an hour b4 and you show up 45 mins b4, you will most likely miss your flight.
