Anyone doing a flip flop basket at the reception hall
I read a review here that someone did it and it was a big hit.
Where would you get them? What sizes??
I love the idea, but am not sure where to start

it really depends on my guest list.. its something im going to consider.. but not until i have a final count of who is coming (#of girls)
girls buy them from old navy when they are on sale..
also chinese slippers u can find them online @ wholesale prices.

i have to wait to see how many girls are showing up!! like Barb said!!...and Barb I will crash in your wedding because your taste is awesome!! and i know if you do flip flops they are gonna look hot!!

I might do a basket. If so, I'm going to wait until Old Navy has them on sale and get a bunch there. I'd get sizes 6, 7, 8, & 9. With mostly 7 and 8s since thats the norm for women's sizes. I'm having 175 people, so I'd probably get about 50-75 pairs.

I might, depends on how my budget is looking. i'm getting married in Jan so flip flops are cheap after summer is over. If I find a good deal I will def buy them and make a basket.
I think its an adorable idea. Sometimes you can get a good deal on flip flops at old navy for 1.99 a pair or you can order those chinese slippers online for cheap. Someone must have a website they can refer you to. I would get mostly 7's, 8's, and 9's.

I also have some baskets available from a wholesale place. I have some for sale on my album. I can try to lower the price for my LIW girls, so let me know if you're interested.

excuse me colleen...what about your fabulous friends who have size 9 clown feet?? hmmmmmm?? dont discriminate...
I might do this depending on how the budget is looking at that point...Get mostly size 7-9, but i know a bunch of people who go down to a size 5 1/2 so I will include a bunch of those too. I am going to try to find organza bags that are big enough to fit them, tie them up and put on a cute tag with the size.

I love the idea, but I'm going to see how the budget works out. If it comes down to something I really want (like fancier flowers or nicer shoes) or a flip flop basket, clearly the flip flop basket is out.

i like the idea, and i have thought about it..... but then again, i really dont like how it looks in pictures. all your guests dressed nice and then have ugle slippers of flip flops on their feet. idk. sometimes pain is beauty....

Sounds like a great idea but I probably will not be doing it for the wedding although I am buying them for my BM's as part of their gift.

I ordered them on ebay. I found a seller who had love themed flip flops so I thought it would be perfect for V-day. I ordered 65 pairs but she through in 25 more.

i liked the idea but FH didnt. i would have to do chinese slippers though i think because im getting married in february and women would probably be wearing stockings so flip flops wouldnt fit right. but i prob wont do it now
