Old navy is $2.50 if you buy 2 or more (which obviously you are)
Do you know how many she bought and how many of each size etc?
Thanks so mcuh!!!

She bought 75 pairs, mostly 7 and 8, and a few 6 and 9.

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
Did a lot of people use them at your MOH wedding?
Because in my opinion, I feel like they may be a waste of money and the only reason I say that is because I ALWAYS bring flip flops with me to a wedding.
You should also make the decsion based on if you have been to weddings that had them and you actually took a pair and used them that night. I have some crazy old aunts that took the flip flops/slippers from some weddings and stuffed them in their bags...lolol

HAHAHA
yea we all used them. She had none left over . She got them at the end of the summer for 1 dollar each pair. I think I will wait to end of summer and see if I can get them for 1 buck !

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
We did slipper baskets. I got 96 pairs total, 20 pairs of size 5 and 10, 24 pairs of size 6 and 9, and the rest 7 and 8. We only had about 20 pairs left. The reason we didn't do flip flops was because a lot of women wear hosiery and can't wear flip flops through the stockings!
This pic was from the wedding! We put all the baskets out in front of the DJ and had him make an announcement about them.

lol...I'd say if you are going to do them then you should def wait until they have the $1 sale.

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
I was only thinking of doing like 50 pairs.. most 7 & 8's
first come first serve kind of thing...
is that lame?

not lame at all. I think a lot of people also bring their own flipflops. I know I do since my feet are AWFUL!
less flipflops people will stuff in their purses to take home

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
I am seriously considering doing this.
I think you can still do this on a budget: Don't spend more than $1 per slipper/flip flop. Don't buy organza bags to put them in. Tie them with inexpensize ribbons and DIY tags. Only buy pairs for the female guests at the wedding, and not even for the whole number of them.
I was at a wedding on Saturday and was really hoping there would be a flip flop/slipper basket!

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
I got a big basket from Michaels for like $3 and i got the flip flops from Dollar Tree for obviously $1 each.... only about 50 pairs various sizes. I didn't put them in bags, just tied them together with ribbon and a tag I printed myself. So it was not too bad to do and I think it's a nice touch! Pics in my album.

Re: Flipflop/Slipper baskets
I had never heard of a slipper basket till I read it on LIW. I think its a fantastic idea b/c I always end up having to go out to my car and get my flip flops at weddings or trying to stuff them in a small handbag. I'm goint with chinese slipper b/c i feel alot of women will wear stockings. I may be going to china town this weekend.
I saw black flip flops for $1 at Michaels...check it out. even if people bring their own they'll still prob take a pair home.
