Ugh...what a pain...

google office of vital records and you should be able to get new original birth certificates. I am doing a private adoption for someone and the courts keep the original birth certificate, so my client is doing that.

ive been tracking them, they just say being processed.... I really dont have the extra money to spend to have my birth certificates reissued. I had to do that to get mine to get the passport in the first place. (Some liquid got spilled on my original so the seal was no longer there) It cost eitehr 60 or 80 bucks... id hate to have to spend that again just because the government cant get their act toghter. ugh, I hate this

Where were your BCs issued that they cost that much I got a copy of mine no problem for $10 at town hall! I hope you get your BC back asap
