One of our invitees is a college friend I haven't seen in years. We invited her to the wedding and my sister sent her a shower invite. She texted me last night saying she is unable to attend the shower, and didn't know what to get us from our registry so she got an Amazon gift card (we have BBB and Amazon registries).
I went on my FB wall before, and she posted it on my wall for me to redeem my code. After I quickly deleted the post to lessen the drama of non-invitees I went to my Amazon page and saw she purchased a card for $100! I feel like I should send her a thank you note right away, or should I wait until after the shower?
that was very sweet of her! I would let her know your reason for taking the post down just so there isn't a chance of her thinking you're unappreciative. I think it would be better to send a thank you sooner since there isn't a chance of her being able to attend the shower.

yeah I already texted her saying I took it down to avoid drama from those not invited. lol
I already blocked/deleted people off my Facebook who whined about my wedding posts 2 weeks ago because they said they never got an invite. A) I only sent them out Saturday so they were being ridiculous and B) Yeah, they weren't invited
