Floral Appointments

Floral Appointments

Just curious, how long were your appointments when you went to go visit florists? I plan on making appointments the next time my FH has weekends off and was just wondering about how much time to space in between each appointment (factoring in driving time of course).

I was at each appointment for 45mins - 1 hour. They do all the asking of questions and you look through some books. So it does take up some time.

i would say about 45 mins to 1 hour, but one florist i met with i was there for almost 2 hours

I agree with everyone else. the appoitment with the vendor who I actually booked with was shorter than the others though because he had already had a print out of everything I wanted. We just went down the list to cover everything and he agreed to make some sample mock ups when I was ready. Florist shopping was actually very fun even though I had no interest in flowers at first.

thanks ladies! i think i am going to start looking, because i'm worried if a florist only does one wedding a day, etc. Its just so hard because so far the florists i called up cant do sunday! (when my FH is off this week) grr.

Try Flower Michele they are open on Sundays and they work with everyones budget! I am using them for the e-party this weekend then booking them for the wedding! I will post pictures sunday of the flowers

hmm my first one was lone, about an hour...my 2nd appointment was 20 minutes....my 3rd was a half hour and my last one was 45 minutes.
sometimes it depends on how much info they need from you at the moment and how talkative they are with you
