What happens to them after the wedding, especially the very tall, fancy ones? Just curious. Mary MOB

Re: Floral Centerpieces
Well since they're expensive, instead of sending them back to the flower shop, what do you think about gathering them in bouquets, and taking them to a local hospital, or nursing home for folks to enjoy? Mary MOB

Don't think so. A lady at Debi's Bridal Tea/Fashion Show gathered a lot of the bouquets, wrapping them in wet papertowels, and newspaper, and we brought them home. Looked great!! Mary MOB

Re: Floral Centerpieces
you can ask them to make a 'take away' cp which is little bo-ks to make up the big CP or just make srue that the top of the tall ones can come off and people take them home!

Re: Floral Centerpieces
I suggested giving them to nursing homes or hospitals, because of my sympathy for the elderly and patients who get nothing and no one visits them. Of course if the flowers are heavy, it would take some effort on someone's part to gather them. Mary MOB

thats what we did...we asked our florist to come back half an hour before the reception is over and bring some tissue to individually wrap 4-5 flowers per person/couple.
