I was at a friend's baby shower yesterday and met a couple who married in July 2004 at Floral Terrace. They LOVED it. The bride went on about the maitre D (Andres sp?) and how he seemed to have antenna. She said he kept all the drama away from her when anyone tried to approach to have a senseless conversation.
She said the food was wonderful. There was so much food leftover that cocktail hour food and dinners were wrapped to go. Her OOT guests were thrilled since they had food for a few days. She had 256 people and said there was still room for a lot more. I think the place holds like 500.
We looked at FT but the no tasting turned us off. However, this bride said she and her mom went to a tasting and everything was delicious.
The ceremony was also at FT and I was told that it was very nice (plenty of room for all 256 people). This couple used the piano at the back of the ceremony room and I was told that the waterfall sounds were not distracting at all.
Oh, and the underground valet parking went over very well with her guests.
They took pics at some garden area (garden city hotel? with a gazebo?).

i have attended a wedding at the FT, and believe me the food is delish! the service is impeccable and Andres is the consummate professional. There is no need for anyone to worry with them.

I think the minimum we were told is 125 at like $60 pp for 2/19/2006. I think that was for an afternoon though.

Re: Floral Terrace brides
i had my 8/2004 wedding at FT. i was a little upset when i was told that they do not do a tasting. then i heard so many good things about the FT that i really wasn't then too worried about not tasting the food. the food was amazing! the maitre'd Andres was also amazing. there was a little drama during my wedding and took care of everything very quickly. if you have any questions, FM me!
