Hi everyone. I was just curious about FT. Since the dance floor is elevated, where do they put the band or DJ? Are they in a separate section or on the dance floor also? How big is the dance floor? Where do they place the bride and groom? The place looks stunning and is on my 'must visit hall' list..lol. TIA.

The DJ or band does go on the dance floor but there is a cutout for them, so they are not in anyone's way....The cutout for them is right when you walk into the room, to your left in the corner of the dance floor...There is plenty of room for them & they will not take up much of the dance floor....The dance floor is big...I don't know the size...The bride & groom are set up by the center steps to the dance floor...Our table is towards the back of the room, but there is a clear path to the dance floor & clear view of the dance floor...Considering the dance floor is raised, no one will have a bad seat in the house if they just want to watch everyone dance from their table..

Thanks so much for that info. That was one of the things I was concerned about. I want to go and start looking at places because I want to book my hall at most the week after my e-party in May. My FI and I are planning on a 2007 wedding, most likely in June.

MY friend got married at the FT last January and you have nothing to be concerned about! The DJ fits nicely in the cut out that Kissy mentioned. They are out of the way and there was plenty of room on the dancefloor!
