Tough call they are both great choices. I have been to weddings at both. I would have to say the food and service was wonderful at both. If you dont have a preference for the style of one over the other or if being the 'only bride' at Floral Terrace dosent sway you maybe the location of one over the other can help you decide. Are they comparable in price?

Floral Terrace or Fox Hollow?
I am getting married at the Floral Terrace in Dec and the main reason I booked there was because I was going to be the only bride having my reception there. Also, I have heard from many people that their service and food is excellent and their viennese hour is AWESOME! It was the first place my FH and I looked at and we booked it right away.
I have never been to a wedding at Fox Hollow so I can't comment but I've heard positive things about the food and service as well.
Good Luck!

Since I'm also having my reception at FT my vote goes for FT. I've only heard great things about the food and the service (on this board and from friends and family). The one wedding at a time was not a big deal for us until we went to FT and realized how nice it would be to have only of our family and friends be there with us on our wedding day.
As for Fox Hollow, I never went to go see it, so I can't comment on it. Hope this helps!!

Thanks so much for the feedback! As for the price there's like a $20pp difference. FT is more expensive. But, my FI and I aren't too concerned w/the 1 wedding @ time. But, I guess we're going to have to decide on something and soon! It's just really hard because what one place has the other doesn't & vice-a-versa.
But, THANKS AGAIN!!! You guys are the best! =) At least, with which ever one I choose - I know I'll be happy because the feedback has been good for both places.

I am booked at the Fox Hollow. Although I have never been to a wedding there, I have several family and friends who have and have nothing but positive things to say about the food and service.
I also have heard great things about Floral Terrace also, although I have never been to the place. Either way, I think they are two great choices.
I did like the fact that Fox Hollow said they come around offering seconds of the dinner, maybe Floral Terrace does this too. I doubt many people will want seconds though, after cocktail hour and all the other food, but I thought it was a nice touch.
If you have any questions about Fox Hollow, let me know, maybe I can help you. Either way, good luck with making your decision and congrats.

Mishy626: Thanks for the info! When is your wedding @ FH? and what rooms do you have? Because we're only having about 150pp. They're giving us the Winter Garden room (for cocktail hr.) & for reception the room where you have to walk downstairs to get into it (I can't remember the name. Also, my FI is Italian - so, having A LOT of fish @ the party is a must. Do you think that Boat of fish display they have will do?

Hi wishcandy,
My wedding at Fox Hollow is April 25, 2003. We are having anywhere between 150 and 175 people so we have the same rooms as you do. The Winter Garden Pavilion for cocktail hour and the Briar Fox for the main reception. To be honest with you, I had seen the Briar Fox once when it wasn't set up and then again right before a wedding party was going into the room, so it was all set up with flowers and it looked gorgeous and that is when we decided that was the place we wanted.
I felt really comfortable with the man who we booked with, Mel, we thought he was such a sweetheart. There were alot of places we went to look at and we weren't treated that great, but at Fox Hollow we find everyone is VERY friendly.
I would love to write more but I'm at work (in a school) and the kids are coming back now. If you want, email me at [email protected] and we can chat more if you'd like.
Oh, and by the way, I think the seafood boat would be perfect. :)

Floral Terrace or Fox Hollow? Sea Food Boat
Our reception was at Watermill - also a Scoto site. We had the Sea Food Boat and it was a hugh hit with everyone. I believe it is the same one served at the Fox Hollow.
