Years ago LI was getting a bad rap, after Amy Fisher and Joey. Then there was the Katie Beers case not long after, which also made national news. I remember reading an article about how these cases were making LI look bad, but it blew over.

I don't think Florida is the armpit of America. I think every state has its armpit sections. I can name one place in NY but I would feel bad if someone was from there or had family there.

hey, I live in Florida now, and though I missed NY for about 6 months, now I never look back!!! so . . . you know what, I think you're all just jealous that we're always happy and in the sun here!

ok, granted the schiavo thing is F---d up, but having spent my entire life in NY, I could give you an even LONGER list of f---d up things that happened in THAT state too!
