I went to one recommended by the reception site and one where my FI had bought flowers before.

The first one gave me a hard time about the appointment. She is pretty far away from my apartment and didn't want to meet on a weekend. I ended up seeing her the day I bought my dress, because I took off work for that.
She wanted a lot of instruction - specific flowers, number of stems ... Wasn't very original. Her pictures were only OK.

The second one was great. He had no problems meeting up on the weekend. He had cookies and tea for us.

More importantly he got it - we don't have a particular floral arrangement in mind, we just want it to look nice.

Though he was more expensive, we went with the second florist.

If you know exactly what you want, you can go with almost anyone. But you are more like me -- don't know anything about flowers and don't want to learn -- I would go with someone who seems to get it.
