Florist

I spoke to my florist today only to find out she thought my wedding was on a Saturday and not a Sunday !!! On top of that she won't deliver to queens because it is on a Sunday and wants to deliver it the day before where the heck am I supposed to put the flowers!!!! If she delivers them at all she will only deliver to my mom's house SO now I have to worry about getting someone to bring the flowers to us which is not something I thought I would have to do and I have to fight with her to make me a sample bouquet because she supposedly doesn't do that ?????????
And I am supposed to just trust I will like it when I get it on the day of the wedding I don't think SO!!!

So even thought I shopped early for flowers it looks like I have to start all over again

JMO-I would get rid of this florist asap. The fact that she is being so unaccomodating when it was HER oversight is an indication of things to come, and better you cut your losses now while you still have time to shop around for someone else than have to worry whether or not she will come through for the wedding! If you're interested, I just booked a great florist last week, the only thing is he's located in Pelham. He was great though, pretty reasonable, and he will have a sample CP ready for me in 10 days. www.westchesterfloral.com
ask for Danny. Good luck!!

Re: Florist

Honestly, you can't worry about this stuff.

In addition, how are you going to store the flowers so they stay fresh? They usually 'refrigerate' them if they make them in advance. They are probably going to wilt in the summer.

I say... find somebody else.

Sorry!

Oooh, i love simply stems, I always see great stuff from them.

And no, you cant keep them overnight on saturday, that is crazy. You are going to have enough to do without having to worry about transporting flowers.

Did you have a contract with this florist?

Switch your florist, trust me!!!

No point in paying a lot of money to be unhappy. Not worth it in my opinion!! I had to switch 2 months ago and I am so happy that I did!!

I agree with everyone else. There are lots of great florists out there, find one you can trust. This is a worry you don't need.
