Hi, I am looking for a florist for my wedding in Sept. I don't reall know what I should expect to pay for about 14-15 low centerpieces, bouquets and bouts for 3 bridesmaids/groomsmen and some flowers for the chuppah and maybe 6-8 or so aisle decorations. I very much like peonies (or something similar) but am working on a tight budget. Can someone help me figure out what I should expect to pay? Also, I saw that some people recommend Burtons... anyone have the contact info (website too, if possible)?
Thanks!

Re: Florist
I booked Burton's and am SO excited to work with them. I was really impressed by their quality and their amazing prices. Here is some contact info:
Flowers by Burton 426 Old Walt Whitman Road Melville, NY 11747 (631) 424-3377 www.flowersbyburton.com
ETA: I had a similar amount of stuff to what you have and they quoted me $1400.
Peonies are not available in September - so don't have your heart set on them. Ranunculus are like a cross between peonies and roses (LOVE them!) and I am using them in October - not sure if they're available in September.
Designs by Rose gave me a GREAT price for 12 low centerpieces, 3 BM bo-ks, 8 bouts, 2 moms, 10 pew flowers, 2 altar arrangements. And it's a great amount of flowers.
They came in lower than Flowers by Brian and Flowers by Burton (by over $1,000!!!). They also came in lower than Flower Michele and same price as Verbena Designs, but way more flowers than Verbena.
HTH!

I highly recommend Flower Michele in Mineola. By far I got the best quote from them and I am also getting a chuppa for my ceremony.
Feel free to FM me if you'd like to know details and pricing for what I'm getting.
John will work within your budget, he's a sweetheart!

We are using Colonial in Bellmore. We're working with Irene, she was totally able to keep us in our budget range!

Re: Florist
I loved my florist... she was one of my favorite vendors... Nancy at Open House Country in Stony Brook... her contact info is in my review... she was a pleasure to work with, and works out of her home, so her prices are a bit more affordable, but still absolutely beautiful...

Re: Florist
Pedestals is my florist----work with Robert. As for peonies, I saw that your wedding is in Sept----peonies are only in season May/June. I'm sure you get them imported from somewhere for a Sept. wedding but it'll probably cost more.

I'm using Cori from Roots, Flowers, and Treasures! She knew EXACTLY what I wanted just after 5 minutes of meeting with her!
Initially, I didn't want to spend much on flowers but when I saw what she could do, I was sold! So, basically she's not on the cheaper side, but she is quality as far as I'm concerned!
She is also recommended by this site....
Good Luck!

I'm going with Laurie from La_Blossom...
Her website is beautiful and has lots of samples of her work. Her style was exactly what I was looking for, I tend to have different taste.
