Florist

Hi all I live in NYC and am getting married in LI i am looking for a good but fairly priced florist can anyone recommend one?
Also what is the normal cost for flowers for ceremony, bridal and reception?
Any help is appreciated!!!

i'm using Pedestals ... they have beautiful flowers there!

prices really depend on how many BM bouquets you need, if you're doing high or low centerpieces, and how many of them you need.

I am researching florists now..there are just soooo many and the quotes seem to be all over the place...

yeah I just saw that LIW blocked them out..weird...I never contacted them. I read too many negative reviews about them from brides on LIW as well as other wedding related message boards.

I've gotten quotes from almost all the ones on that list but the price differences are crazy. I have a low of $775 to a high of over $2,000.

A quote will depend on a specific rose – size of the arrangement and rentals if any. The price also drastically increases depending on highs or lows and number of tables.

I personally booked with Flowers by Gina - She was amazing - wiling to work with your budget and will most definitely give you the biggest bang for your buck; Quality and personal attention to detail is what she delivers. She prepared a sample for FH and I - I told her what I envisioned and she nailed it – we booked it! She only does one wedding per day. The size of her floral arrangements are nothing short of spectacular and you can tell her work comes from her heart – she is fully invested in her craft and ensuring your happiness. You can send her en email of what your colors are and she will work hand in hand with you to create your vision of floral perfection. We're using Flowers by Topaz. I really liked his worked, he didn't try to upsell us, he knew what I was talking about even though I didn't know the technical terms for things, and in comparison to the quotes I've seen on here for something similar to what we're getting, I think it's a fair price.

Metro Floral Decorators are by far the cheapest! they really work with your budget and can do amazing work! they are located in both Astoria, Queens and somewhere in LI i believe.
i'm using them for my flowers and my sister used them for hers last year
