Florist and colors??

Florist and colors??

We're going to meet with our first florist today (in 1/2 hour, lol) but haven't picked out our exact colors yet - I know I want some form of blue though. Is that enough for them to know?

I just read an article on The Knot that said 'Don't even think about visiting a florist without knowing what your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and moms are wearing. There's literally no point .' So now I'm worried! Is knowing that I want blue enough or do I need to know the exact color?

pick out at least the BM dress and color, that's what my florist told me when I first met with her...I had no idea what color the girls were wearing, so the first meeting was pointless. I was leaning toward blue also, but the dress I ended up picking didn't come in the type of blue I liked, so I switched to purple...which changed my whole idea of what flowers I wanted. Hope that helps!
