Florist appointment tonight.....

So I have my first appointment tonight to meet with the florist and I am excited but nervous at the same time. I made a list of all the flowers I need as well as all the flowers I like, I have pictures of the colors I want to use, centerpieces that I like etc etc.

Are there any tips that I should know or questions I should ask when I go? What is a good price for each centerpiece?

THERE is no set price for centerpieces, it depends on whether it is high or low and also what type of flower it is...What are you getting? this will help ppl give you a better idea of what it will cost...otherwise the answer is anywhere from about $50 per centerpiece to $200 and some even higher

Well I know I definitely want high centerpieces and want to include tons of roses but not sure exactly what else I want.....i love orchids, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, calla lilies

well high cp's usually run from about $125-200 each, ive seen some for $100...Roses are one of the least expensive flowers...but calla's and orchids are expensive...so considering you want high ill say $125-200 each, until you know exactly which flowers you will use for the cp its hard to say a price...if you pick a flower that is out of season during your wedding then it will be more expensive for example

Im trying to research stuff now so I dont go there totally uneducated.

many places have samples there...pedestals for example has a showroom so we got to see alot before deciding plus they have lots of pics. I dont have pics at work but they can help you as far as what looks good together...do you want to stick to a color scheme, maybe think of that first

My florist asked me a ZILLION questions I was not prepared for! He asked me to explain in exact detail my dress. I should have brought a picture!

He asked what the church altar looked like and how it was set up. I am emailing him a picture of the altar for the church flowers.

He asked what colors the mothers were wearing. Since we dont know yet I had no answer!

Be prepared! lol

Make sure you know how many bout and boks you want. if you are having any readers etc.

My florist is also giving me a free toss bok. Inquire about that.
