Florist Appt!!

I have my first florist appointment tomorrow!! I am so excited but I don't really know what to ask. My girls will be wearing hot pink so I like the pinks and greens for the bouquet's. And I want tall centerpieces with the same color scheme. Basically the cheapest (but nice) pink and green flowers I can get haha. Any info/pics???? thanks

i would definately print out pics of colors and/or CPs you like so the florist can visualize what your looking for....i printed several CPs b/c there were elements from each that I wanted to combine....same thing with Bok's and Boutineers (sp)

Dont go empty handed you'll get a lot more direction and a more accurate quote if you have pics....and you'll feel more confident that they understand what your looking for!

i do have two pics from a magazine that i really like... so i will be sure to bring them. do they usually ask you what you want to spend first and then go from there?

hmmm im not sure. i went to burtons and i showed the picture of the exact centerpiece and how many. then i told him how many bo-k's and stuff then i got a quote...

yesss, my quote was amazing. for 2240 i got 14 high cp's, 12 bo-k's, unlimited boutineers, my bo-k and a throw away and 4 corsages

burtons also doesnt go based onthe type of flower, u can get whatever u want...they just go based on the amt of cp's etc.

i didnt give a budget.......tell them what you want.....ask for an estimate.....and if its to much say its a little over your budget how can we adapt these ideas to my budget.....maybe they can suggest cheaper flowers.....or a smaller CP with candles instead....stuff like that.....if you do candles buy them on your own....dont get them from the florist they'll charge you twice as much

I'd def bring some pics of what your looking for. I've heard that roses are the cheapest way to go, which you wouldn't normally think but they buy them in bulk so they can pass on the savings. Also, I know high CPs are pretty expensive, just keep that in mind! Good luck!
