my FMIL has stated that she will be paying for all of the flowers for the wedding. ok great, one less thing to worry about. also she has told me that i can have anything that i want & cost is no object. here are my dilemmas:
my sister (MOH) is involved in all the planning with me -> is it rude to have her come to the florist with FMIL, FH & myself? (i will letter FMIL know before hand that she will be coming with us)
i want to use a specific florist -> the owner is friends with my mom through her work place & this florist did the centerpieces for my brothers wedding which was 8 years ago & my mom still has it in her house. (my brother did a fish bowl with a plant in it & the plant still looks great). is it rude of me to force her to use this florist?
some advice please

Re: Florist & FMIL
i would say of coarse your MOH can go and i dont think its rude at all for you to use the florist you want. she offered to pay for it, not pick everything that has to do with it! dont stress... im sure she wont be offended.

i would say absolutely bring MOH if she is helping you plan-bring her (i know i would) and if you have a specific florist that you want to use i would let FMIL know that

Yea I think its fine to bring you MOH. I would let your FMIL know you have a florist in mind b/c you already have seen their work plus they are a family friend.

I do not think this is rude at all! Bring your MOH if she will help you and her opinion is important to you! And you should be able to use any florist you choose, its your wedding!

Its not rude at all to bring your MOH or to go where you want. Your FMIL gave you no 'conditions' to her paying so you have nothing to worry about!
