FH and I just started looking at florists and its alot more than I thought... like $6,000+--
can someone recommend me a reasonably priced florist! I am going to need about 15 centerpeices, 6 bridesmaid bouqets, decoration of my temple, and all the other typical things-- bouqets for mom, FMIL, boutonniere. Whats a reasonable price also.. :) Thx!!!

i was quotes 2k for bouquets (5), 8 bouts, 16 low cp's, rose petals, MOB/MOG flowers

its not just about the amount of flowers you are getting but the types of flowers. All flowers are different prices, some are inexpensive, some moderate and some expensive. MOST girls on here ive seen pay between $2k-4k for flowers. What kind of flowers are you using? that is probably why your price is that high, so if its something that is very expensive then alot of florist will be close to that.
I paid about same price you were quoted but that was for 25 high cp's with calla lilies, orchids and curly willow branches brides bok(peonies) 9 bm bok's(calla lilies) flowergirl kissing ball(peonies) 11 gm bout's(mini calla's) grooms bout(mini calla lily) plus bout's for RB, both fathers(mini calla's) Two altar arrangements with calla's, orchids and curly willows also 12 calla and orchid pew bows 2 nosegay bok's for our mothers(mango calla lilies) 2 corsages for grandmothers throwaway bok bok for the blessed mary rose petals and candles on all the tables high cp for placecard table.

average cost of high cp's are $125-200. Roses are inexpensive compared to most other flowers, unless you get those huge tight cp's of lots of roses, but otherwise costs less. The florist I used and a few others too, their lowest starting cp's were usually roses. Theres other types of flowers too that can be in the lower range, i would ask the florist, what flowers you can look at that are on the lower side and beginning prices for cp's.

Definitely call Jen at Verbena Designs Inc. I'm having alternating high/low centerpieces of hard to get flowers for our time of year and she was by far the best person we met with. Not only was she one of the lowest quotes we received, but the quality of her work and freshness of her flowers were not to be beat! She was absolutely amazing!! I can't say enough good things about her. I Jen @ Vebena. Search their name and you'll see nothig but RAVE reviews about them. Trust me!! You won't be disappointed.

Go to Pedestals and ask for Nadia - she is amazing to work with and their work is outstanding. My guests are still raving about our flowers from the bouquets to the centerpieces and more. Explain to her what you want, your budget, and your vision - she will definitely be able to work with you.

Burtons did my wedding. They were awesome. There is no difference in low and high centerpieces with burtons same price.

definitely check out Burtons. Several of my friends and relatives have used them and their flowers were amazing. They were also the lowest quote I got and I shopped around quite a bit.

Check out Designs by Rose... She recently did my sample. Im having all high CP's and she did such an amazing job. Shes pretty reasonable too. I just havent had a chance to post the sample Cp yet but soon I will.

I just want to say that I went to Burtons too and their quote was much higher than Verbena. It could just be b/c of the type of flowers I was asking for, but you definitely need to see multiple vendors before deciding. Each situation is different.
