So i really want to keep my florist budget below $2,000. anyone have any suggestions because the prefered florist i've met with are very high. I just dont want to trust just any florist without having a good recommendation from someone...any thoughts?
anyone hear of florakit? they are a wholesale florist...... check em out florakit.com
I'm going to look into that as well.
TIA!!

Re: Florist Help
Try Burton's in Huntington; they are wholesale and seem to be very reasonably priced. I know a few people who have or are using them and have said nothing but great things!

Flower Barn did a great job for our wedding and was the cheapest quote we got

Re: Florist Help
Have you checked out any local florists? My flowers are costing me a 1/3 of what I was quoted for the same thing with a large wedding flower vendor.

Re: Florist Help
My cuz went to La Bloosom and they gave her the best price better than Flower Barn etc, she had a huge wedding with over 350 people and big bparty and paid 2,000 for all flowers. Btw her flowers were AMAZING they lastest over a mth,
my ex friend used this lady also out of Queens for her flowers, she paid like $65 per table for a her wedding centerpiece. Little impressions, the person name is Kerbanoo Drozario (718) 592-9502 , she does mainly Indian weddings but her flowers were pretty nice.

Re: Florist Help
My florist is costing me less than $1,000 for everything, but I bought my own vases for the CP and votives, and I'm working with a woman who basically works out of her home. I'm also not that picky so long as it looks nice, it doesn't have to look like I spent a million dollars on it for me to be happy.
I met her at a bridal expo on Long Island and she was very nice, so I hope I'm making the right decision.

Re: Florist Help
I met with florakit at a bridal show. Their pictures of the flowers looked nice. I do plan on visiting with them as well as other local shops once I pick out my colors.
