Hey there!

I got the best prices from Flowers by Brian and Pedestals

Spitz/Peck was RIDICULOUSLY more expensive. J@ck and Rose has HORRIBLE reviews and an 'F' rating on the better business bureau website.

Basically, after the negotiations got FBB and Pedestals down to the same price. I decided to go with FBB b/c I got personal attention from them - Pedestals just didn't give me that vibe.

If you go to FBB, meet with Joseph - he was great! Good luck! FM me with any questions!

We're using Pedestals and couldn't be happier! Several friends and family members used them in the past and everything looked perfect.

My sister used Pedastals. Everything was perfect.

My SIL used Flowers by Brian and hated him. She said he was all good and fine when they met, but hated the flowers day of. She didn't mind her own bouquet, but the BM bouquets were wrong and the centerpieces were sparse. That's just one girl's comments, but I probably won't even consider him based on that.

My vote is for Pedastals!

Re: florist help

I've heard great things about Pedestals and Flowers by Brian. I don't know about their pricing but if budget becomes a factor... (sometimes the hall gets a kickback from reccomended vendors which ends up costing you more in the end)... you could always get your personals and ceremony flowers from another vendor.
Another tip: When visiting the florist make no mention of your hall... that way you can get and honest quote without the potential added fee of an in house vendor. Make sure you state want you want and budgetary concerns, so that they may provide you with an accurate quote.
If they ask you who else you're seeing mention a couple of outside vendors such as burtons (budget friendly and very well known on LIW) bc they're final quote (pricing) may be affected by their competitors - me and FH went to 5 different florists burtons included and one of the florist quoted us about 1k higher then considerably 'worked the price' when he found out who else we were seeing - granted by no means are you obligated to tell them who else you're seeing. I hope this helps
