Florist help

Florist help

So I have put this off way to long and I am about 3 months out and have done nothing with flowers!!!

Does anyone have a good florist they can recommend. I need someone that is reasonable but can offer suggestions. I know nothing about flowers and don't really care too much about them. I was thinking something simple like hydrangeas but again I know nothing.

I know a lot of you talk about Burton's but I heard you need to know what you want when you go there.

Thanks!

Re: Florist help

you don't need to know what you want at bur tons. They charge you the same for any flower so just book em if you like the quote and you can decide down the road.

I booked a while back with them, flowers weren't a huge deal to me either so i haven't met with them yet to decide what i want exactly

I am using Hidden Essence... SHE IS GREAT! Her prices are A-MAZING and she is very creative!

The first vendor I actually felt like I got a 'deal' who does good work!

Re: Florist help

When I booked w/ Burt*ns, all I needed to tell them was an estimate of how many tables I need centerpieces for, what bouquets I need, boutenniers, etc. They estimate the price based on that, and then I went a few weeks ago (it's about 6 weeks before the wedding), to choose what I want the flowers to be. I literally brought them pictures of what I want and that's what they're doing.

i went to Lovin Oven in Sayville... i know NOTHING about flowers nor did I have any idea what i wanted... i walked in and told Keyth that, told him a little about me, and he created the most beautiful arrangements!!! he totally knows flowers and created stuff right there and changed it based upon feedback.. i would highly highly recommend them

totally agree!! i love michelle! in the end, i think my quote was the same as the one i got from b*rtons, but i felt the same way...that i'd have to give more direction if i went with b*rtons and with hidden essence, I felt that she's very creative & detail oriented
