So i've been back and forth about florists for months now. I finally got a chance to meet with Jen from Verbena yesterday and I love her. She really is soo sweet.
Now I feel torn between Jen and Richard from Perfect Wedding Planners. Both are about the same price range so that isn't an issue....
Richard: will give me a tour of his factory to hand pick the flowers I want and then will set up my sample centerpieces in my reception room since his office is at Fox Hollow. Huge advantage in my opinion. Plus every centerpiece I've seen that he has done has been HUGE and beautiful. I am not sure if I can see a sample before booking.
Jen: super sweet, FH and I loved her. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted to so I sent her a bunch of pictures and when I walked into her shop, this gorgeous centerpiece was ready for me!!! It was so beautiful and FH and I both loved it.... she also gave me a rose as I was leaving. (nice touch I have to say because I was smiling the rest of the morning!!)
So now my dilemma, do I go with the guy who will show me my samples in my reception room so I can see exactly what they will look like day of or go with the girl who I think was so sweet and really seemed to have gotten my vision???
I would pick Rich if it were me. I think there is a lot of security in the fact that his office is at your RH. Obviously he has done a great job for them in the past (not that verbena wouldn't) and has probably worked a million weddings at your Rh so he knows what will work. Just my opinion though!

i'm going with Verbena. 1st off your CP looks sick. 2nd, she got your vision and you were happy. 3rd she is soooo easy to work with.

I agree....
also, I could have used the florist in our RH as well, he does do a great job from what i've seen, but just because he's there didn't give him an edge in our picking...

Jenn from Verbena. She was amazing to work with and my flowers were beautiful.
She helped me get the look I wanted for my budget!
And she couldn't be any Sweeter.

I'm a little biased because I just booked with Richard. However, I didn't look at Jen, so I can't speak about the quality of her work... pics looks great though!
I went with Richard because since his shop is on-site, if anything goes wrong, he can fix it quickly and easily. I also love the idea of hand-picking my own flowers with him.

ITA....we're 99% sure we're going to book with PWP. It means a lot to me to be able to see everything IN our room as soon as we book......

We just booked with Jen! I LOVE her, she does amazing work & I can't find one bad review about her or her work. If you wanted to you could have brought her sample CP over to the hall to see how it looked there... not sure if you have it or not.

DEF VERBENA!!! I met with Jen and she's awesome!! She's doing my co-workers wedding & my coworker said she is SSOOO organized, great to work with and on top of everything, and from all the wedding pics I've seen, her flowers are always gorgeous.

I didn’t pick Verbena, and now I regret it. Jenn was awesome. When I declined the proposal I told her that I would recommend them to anyone who asked me for a florist recommendation...and I meant it.
If it matters to you Verbena has an A+ rating with the BBB. You may want to see if the other one has the same.
