Florist Hunt begins...
We are beginning the search and will be visiting the following:Burtons, Colonial, Flower Den, Flower Michele and Wicks.
Can anyone tell me if the following fall within the price range of the ones above: Donald Hedgecock Florist, Enchanted Florist, A Florid Affair, Flower after Flower, Flowers by Liz, Flowers by Matthew, Flower Patch, Jay W Becker, Simply Elegant, Towers Flowers and Town Florist.
Does anyone have the phone number to Colonial. I have been doing a search and can't find it.
Thanks ladies.

Re: Florist Hunt begins...
I used Flowers by Liz for my September 27th wedding. I have never been so happy! Liz was one of the best choices I made for my wedding.I am still hearing compliments about the flowers and everyone who sees the wedding photos goes crazy about the flowers.
I priced Burtons before seeing Liz. She gave me MUCH more for my money and I doubt anyone could have done a better job!
I could write forever and never be able to tell you how I loved everything she did.
Liz decorated my cake too and even the staff at the Watermill were talking about the cake!
If you need any more info, write me a forum mail.

We booked Burtons. We were going to check out one or two more but we were so happy with them, we booked right away.

Re: Florist Hunt begins...
My recommendation -Go see John at Flower Michele first. He spends so much time discussing details and writes down everything (type of flowers/#of flowers in each; etc.) - and then he gives you a photocopy of his notes and his estimate. This was enormously helpful for me - I was able to bring it to the other florists and get prices - and know that we were all on the same page.
Good Luck!

Re: Florist Hunt begins...
Thanks everyone.Anyone use the other ones listed or heard anything good or bad reviews?
I probably will only see the top list because I have heard nothing but good things (some bad reviews for Burton's, which doesn't bother me) but just want to make sure I am visiting the good ones.
I will see Florid Affair.

I booked Sugar Magnolias. We were going to check out a few others but after meeting with Heidi I knew she was going to be great to work with. She is sweet, energetic and very creative. She gave me a great price and I booked her immediatly!
