Okay, at this point, I've met with the following florists and the price quotes I received.
Flowers by Brian - $5000 Flower Michelle - $4000 Flower Barn - $4310 Verbena Designs - $5300
I have a few more I'm going to visit tomorrow, but I know you ladies are well versed and can definately help me....I'm looking for all the NOT SO nice things you have to say about these florist. I know they are all reputable, but I just would like to know that if I don't make my decision on price, what about the quality?

wow what r u getting that is that exp. my florist is 2000 and i am getting 16 high centerpiences with candles , my entire bridal party , and some extras... there is def no need to spend that much try simply elegant they are really oustanding and very reasonalbe priced .. talk to emily

as for the shops u mentioned i only went to flowers by brian and flower michelles. brians was about 2k over my 2k budget for the sam things and michelle quoted me 3500 .. which was rediculuous cause they own the pedastals i want .. oh well i'm happy with simply elegant.. the other two i dont know anything of

Hey, my theme for my wedding are orchids and I have a tons of flowers for my ceremony, the reception area of majestic garden, even the bathrooms have pieces which I've designed. Plus I'm having 2 arches and a whole bunch of stuff. I really appreciate your feedback.

I'm using Flowers by Brian.... my quote was actually quite a bit higher than yours, but we're getting A LOT. I met with Brian, and I felt really confident that he could do what my FH and I wanted!

I met with Brian and Cindy at Flowers by brian and they was great. My quote 3k with high CP but no BP. I really liked them and felt really comfortable and there reputation is best.

I am using Flowers by Brian. A lot of the girls on here rave about Flower Michelle but I never went and met with them. I knew Flowers by Brian was it for me. I know they are reputable and have been around for many years and I have only heard good things about them.

I went with Pedestals and I am paying half of what you are quoted.. I also have a smaller wedding 100-115ppl but I am using expensive flowers (99% calla lillies).. I would check them out.. I am working with Robert, who is their Director of Design..

I would check out Pedestals as well. I have to tell you they gave me so much more then Brian and Rob was so helpful and kind. I also looked at Flower Michele and cant say I had a good experience with them. I know everyone raves about them but I guess i met with them on a bad day.

Flower Michelle always gets great reviews on this site. I know a lot of brides are very happy with them. I met w/ Flower Barn and they were great. They were actually my 2nd choice. I ended up going with Simply Stems.

I just went to Flower Barn and I may use them. I got a great price. However, I still want to shop around since they were my 1st florist.

I didn't meet with any of the florists you mentioned. Have you checked out With All My Heart? They are in Port Jeff Station.

I booked Flower Michele-I had no problems with them at all and they came in under what i budgeted for. I didnt visit any of the other florists you mentioned-sorry i cant help with that

We booked with John from Flower Michelle. Loved them and didnt' go above our $3K budget.

I am using Burtons Flowers and what I am paying is 3500 and i am getting everything i want.. from exotic flowers to calla lillies...
I am so excited and happy that we picked them...

I'm using flower barn, i really liked them!! they did my friends wedding and her flowers came out great!!! I also met with barbara from flower michelle i wasn't impressed, she made us wait like 20 min and rushed through her presentation

I dont know if your going to fine not so nice things about these florists.
The one thing I will say is I did not like Flower Barn. I felt he just wanted to make the sale and he came in over my budget and then he asked me what it was when I told him all of a sudden he could do it for that price. Well you were obviously charging me to much to begin with. His work is nice.
Flower Michele and Brian are great and do beautifull work. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about them after receiving flowers. They were out of my budget also.
Verbena was also out of my budget and I was a little dissapointed. I thought she would have given my a better price since my sister was using her and she referred me. She does great work and only one wedding at a time which is really nice.
I went with Flowers by Burton they quoted me one price for any flower I wanted just like the above girls said. You should check them out. If not go with your gut and who you clicked with and who saw your vision. Good luck

We booked John at Flower Michelle immediately after seeing his work. This was a WHILE ago. Anyway, all my flowers are 100 % Calla Lily's and we didn't go over 2K. EVERYTHING is Calla's and I wouldn't have stepped in another florists door! The choice is yours, good luck

Thanks everyone for the great responses.....I met with Simply Stems today and loved them to death.....they were great.....I think I clicked better with them than anyone else.....but I think I'm going to check out Burton's tomorrow.

I used Verbena Designs and can only say good things about Jennifer.
Actually DH and I were blown away on our wedding day by the flowers. Above and Beyond our expectations. We are a very small budget and she worked with it.
