if it were me and i had to choose i would go with flower michele... the fact that, for the same amount of stuff, you were quoted the least amount of money with flower michele says something right there. i have heard good things about all the florists you mentioned but out of all of them i have heard the most glowing reviews about flower michele.

I used Flower barn i was wvery happy! My arng were all white dendrobium orchids on a pedestal they really were beautiful...they are so talented!

You should check out Burtons... I checked out Flower Michele, Flowers by Brian, and Flower Barn... and I picked Burtons...
I loved my sample Centerpiece... it was everything I asked for plus more...
AND... I got quoted 5K at flowers by Brian w/o all the details that I wanted (they told me I couldn't do specific things, which I knew I could go b/c I worked in a florist for 5 yrs) and Flowers by Burton only quoted me I think $2500... if even... Def check Burtons out... Same price for every flower... and working in a florist believe me I didn't pick out the cheapest flowers...
When you go in the house looks like a little shack and their are fake flowers everywhere that might scare you off... but if you look at the quality of work they are doing in the back you can see how amazing they really are!
Flowers were my BIGGEST concern since I was in the Floral Business... I am truly happy with my decision!

I went to Verbena so far, and she quoted me a decent price for what I was asking for. Which was My Bouquet (orchids, callas, lavender, stephonotis) 9 bridesmaids bouquets 4 corsages(sp?) 14 Bout. 2 large Flowers pieces for the church 8 stands with candles/flowers going down aisle 16 centerpieces including big pillar candles Box of wheat grass for card table 1 orchid per place setting in napkin Rose petals for tables at cocktail hour Flowers for cake
She gave me a price of $4500. But I think I may take out the orchids at each place setting, and the stands from the church aisle. That would be saving me $700. Bringing my cost down to $3,800. I really only wanted to spend $3500, but I love her work and the attention I would be getting for the day.. It's worth the extra 300 to me. I still plan on meeting with 1 or 2 others tho

I didnt like FLowers by Brian.....I am using Flowers by Burton-3500 for everything and I am using exotic flowers(which are expensive).
Brian was $5500. So i went with Burton bc i couldnt understand why it was such a difference in price for the same flowers...
Dont get me wrong Flowers By Brian does a good job just too expensive!!

WOW!!! those are some pretty expensive flowers!!! im not knocking it, bc i really dont have a clue when it comes to flowers, BUT i know my sis & fsil used burtons and they were able to get any flower they wanted didnt matter if it was out of season....they got any flower and really nice arrangments and i think it only cost about 1/3 of those prices.
i would def at least go and talk to them and see what they have to offer. i dont know what you budgeted yourself for, but thats a lot of money for flowers. good luck!!!!

I met with John from Flowers Michelle, back in March. I think at the time he was sooo over booked and everyone was going there, he seemed very overwhelmed to me. He met us for about 10 minutes and seemed very rushed. Yes, he does beautiful work but I just didnt get the WOW feeling from him that everyone else got. I ended up with Flowers by Brian because they also do beautiful work and ended up cheaper than Michelle. I worked with Cindy

Personally, I like Verbena the best and am probably going to go with her. She is more expensive but I love her creativity.
Flower Michele is running a close second. I went to my cousin's wedding yesterday and she used Burton's and I her flowers were beautiful. I've heard very mixed reviews about them but her flowers looked really nice. I was also at another wedding on Saturday and they used Pedestals and her flowers were beautiful as well.
