Florist Pricing w/ itemized list

Hey Girls,

Just got back from my 1st appointment with a florist. Here's a breakdown of prices:

bride's bok $175
BM bok $55 each
Jr. BM bok $40
bout. n/c
corsages $17 or $9 depending on flower used

low centerpieces (I provide container) $45 each
delivery fee to RH $50
altar arrangement $25 each

How does this sound? (Flowers being used are roses and stargazer lillies for the most part)

Just some info for girls who haven't started looking yet to give you an idea of some prices...

Hi Janet!!!!

Those prices sound reasonable, certainly. Have you gone to Flowers by Burton in Melville? Their prices are per piece, and include ANY flower that's in season. Might be worth it to compare.

Hey Girl!!!!!!

Yeah, I drove by Burton's but was put off by the appearance of the building - the parking lot was SOOO crowded that I didn't even see an entrace to the place. I guess that's just the way it looks - I'll have to go back and give them a try for REAL. This was only my first place, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, so that's why I was seeing if I could get some more opinions on it. Hope things are going swimmingly for you too!

the entrance is actually on old walt whitman.... you can really blow right by it if you're not paying attention (i know we did) ..... all it is is a house thats they work out of.... dont be put off by the appearance... i met with mike over the weekend to book and he was such a nice guy... and really understood my vision and thankfully didnt laugh or even flinch at my idea of a cp LOL

Hey miss witty,

That sounds like a great price for your flowers.. The price i got quotes was oh about double, actually for some things, triple! that amount (for different flowers though)

Where did you get that quote from?

the prices are great for everything. Brides bok, bm bok's and cp's are all very reasonable.

Those are about my prices, although I bought my vases and they are $35 ea for 7 tables, and $20 ea for 7 tables and my bouquet is $125. Also doing the same flowers. Love stargazer lillies! My place is Towers Flowers, I used Nina in West Islip. Shes awesome, I loved my cp sample!
