Florist ques...help me decide (poll)

Florist ques...help me decide (poll)

I'm torn b/w 2 florists right now...both are equally as good in terms of quality from what I've seen. I'll do a little comparison b/w the 2 and help me decide

#1: Owner is very nice, great to work with but I have a feeling there is a whole design team involved so he probably doesn't actually do the work himself, and pumps out probably 100's of weddings a year. But that doesn't seem to effect the quality at all. His estimate was probably $800 less then #2.

#2: Owner is also very nice, does one wedding per day and it's her that does all of the work. She is not as popular on this site. She's also much more expensive. I felt more connected with her, like she knew exactly what I was thinking, to the point it was freaking me out a bit...LOL. I definitely loved her ideas and vision.

Am I better off going with #1 the less expensive one or #2 the one that seemed to understand my ideas better.

it's really a matter of personal choice and how you feel...i chose several 'more expensive' vendors based on the quality of their work and their ability to deliver exactly what i was looking for...there were some things that were not dictated by price, and more on who i preferred. Go with what your gut tells you and who you think can offer you what you are hoping for!

I agree-do you mind spending the money and getting exactly what you would like? Or saving the money and not having the owner actually do your flowers?

If #1 also knows what you would like I wouldnt think twice about it only b/c it will still be what you want. As long as you get flowers and you are HAPPY with them either way

$800 is a huge difference, but you should book the vendor that you felt more comfortable with. Trust your gut. If instinct tells you to go with #2, then do it. Maybe there are other places that you can save the difference. Good luck!

Well - if you can afford to splurge on the flowers I would say number two - especially if flowers are on your priority list.
Number one sounds like they know what they are doing - I dont think a tem working on the flowers will affect the quality but #2 will probably be able to add more personal touches that she knows connect with your style

Ehh I don't know if I agree that 800 bucks is that big of a difference. I think, in the grand scheme of things, it's a relatively small amount of money-- but it all has to do with who you feel more comfortable with and from what I have read-- it seems like you feel more comfortable with #2.

But maybe 800 dollars is a whole lot-- it depends on the what scale your budget is on. Go with your gut and don't second guess yourself-- from the sounds of it, both seem great, and you should be good to go either way! I think you'll be happy no matter which you go with.

Go with what your gut tells you and you can never go wrong.

I think I know who your #2 florist is, I would definitely go that route.

I would go with number 2, especially if you felt like she really understood what you wanted.

I would go with number 2. I didn't chose my florist based on price. I saw only ONE florist! I felt so comfortable with him and he knew EXACTLY what I was looking for so I didnt need to go any further! Its the most wonderful day of your life and you should mesh well with every vendor you have!!
