Florist question

If you girls don't mind sharing, I was wondering how much everyone is paying for flowers? I am not sure if the price I was quoted from James Cress is a good one? Thanks so much.

If you don't want to post would you mind sending me an FM.

Thanks!

I have not looked for flowers yet, I can't decide on what color. I have an arch to decorate and I am so confused because I have not pick BM dresses out. Where did you get your flowers from?

I see you are a Land End bride...did you go across the street and talk to Keyth? They really take care of you if you are a lovin oven bride.

Re: Florist question

about 5 grand for:
my cascading bo-k (200)
MOH bo-k (80)
3 BM bo-k (80 each)
petals for flower girl basket
flower girl headpiece (30)
8 boutonnieres (80 + one for groom which is free)
6 pew decorations (90)
2 alter arrangements (200)
3 corsages (20 each)
20 raised up centerpieces with mirrors to put them on and votives to circle the mirrors (175 each)
20 fishbowls with a floating rose for the cocktail hour tables (10 each)
silk tossing bo-k
about a dozen roses to be on our sweetheart table

our price will shift a bit because we need to add 2 dozen roses for the cake, and i am changing my tossing bo-k from silk to real. also we need about 25-30 cocktail hour table decorations. but we will only have about 14 tables at the reception, instead of 20.

The quote I got from JC was very high compared to the others...it was like $1K more. However, he did my friends wedding and her flowers were gorgeous. So I got to see his work in the flesh and it was awesome.

ETA: If you go to my album, under Lands End Wedding, you can see her bo-K and her cps in the distance.

JC was a lot higher, try flowers by burton, they price you based on the amount, not by type of flower, they were MUCH cheaper than the others
