Florist Question

Hey ladies!

My next thing on my check off list is finding the right florist! However, I'm kinda cluess as to what questions I need to ask and is there anything that I need to bring with me....

Bring a color swatch of the BM dresses with you if you have it. Have some colors in mind. A good florist will be able to pull your vision together without too much info. Just be prepared to tell her your vision and point out flowers you like and dislike. Also bring any pictures you find of stuff you like. I booked with Sugar Magnolias and she is so wonderful. I am clueless when it comes to flowers and she hit my vision right on target!

Since you are getting married at the Jericho Terrace - I suggest Flowers by Brian - I didn't book with them because I also booked with Sugar Magnolias, but they were amazing - very helpful. As long as you have a picture, a color swatch, or the idea that you don't like smelly flowers - they can pull together your vision!!

Before you go.... Look look look at photos. Get an idea of what you want. At first I was clueless and went to see 3 florists with 3 prices and 3 visions ( all of which I wasn't nuts about). Each florist was very helpful ... But in the end I had to mull over what I wanted and my look.
Look at mags and online for photos. If you have more time... Go to a few bridal showcases and get ideas.

You have plenty of time for flowers. Go to showcases, look at ideas, scour magazines. I went did my flowers about a year before and changed my mind twice! Lol. Take your time and research your florists!
