Florist Question re church

Just curious if this is allowed.
Can florists use the same arrangements from a church and take them to the reception area?

Depends on your church. Most make you leave them as a 'donation' which I disagree with but that is the case a lot.

the florist won't bring them to the reception.. but you can ask someone in your BP perhaps to bring them for you.

They're your flowers, I don't see why not. I'm taking them for the reception.

My florist is taking them to the reception. I guess it all depends on the church and/or the florist you use and what's in your contract with the florist.

We didn't have really any floral arrangements in the church, but we did have 7 foot candleabras. Our florist did use them in the reception afterwards.

The only donation that our church asked... was whether we were going to put a bouquet for the Blessed Virgin. I think the florist did that... don't really remember.

My florist is also taking the 2 alter flowers and taking them to the reception hall to place them in front of the bridal table. So glad to hear your church is OK with that also!

Yes. You must tell you florist that's what you want. You can donate to the church by presenting a bouquet to the blessed Mother

I think you can have the flowers brought back to the reception. Just need to tell your florist and church that.

we are using ours again...it was the flroists idea...most churches have flowers already so will just throw out your flowers anyway!

Pschica that is what the secretary in the rectory told me. At least she was honest and told me they would get thrown out if we didn't take the alter arrangements and pew bows.
I am so happy we switched to this church.
