Florist questions.....

I've had a few email conversations with 2 different florists that are in the Manhattan area. I have a meeting on Saturday; she has seen my inspiration photos, knows the flowers i'm looking for and i talked with her about my overall vision. This florist is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the other one I will see in about 2 weeks.

What questions should I be asking her??

If you haven't already, you should visit Flowers by Brian - I think they have an NYC office.

We asked: the size of the vase that they use, how full the flowers will look, how long they've been in business, how many weddings they do a day, when can you see a sample. To us it was important not to have any hydrangeas because FH and I don't like them and we think they look like filler flowers so we kept asking about that.

We also asked which flowers were cheaper than others to keep the prices down. Also ask about freebies, like throw away bouquets, cake flowers, if mom's want bouquets or ceremony flowers..
