is that a resonable price?

I thought FMIL was going to have a heart attack, i didnt think it was that bad considering I had orchids and lily, peonies & gardenia

That seems high to me but I dont know much about the cost for each type of flower. I would suggest getting a quote somewhere else so you can compare. I went with Hidden Essence and she came in 1000.00 less than 2 other florists for the same things.

The peonies are what's jacking the price up. If you want to save money, ask if they can mix in cabbage roses with the peonies. I wanted all peonies, but once I was shown cabbage roses/garden roses and the price difference, I was sold!

I would definitely get another quote, because it couldn't hurt. Make sure you are getting a good deal. My quote is very different than yours, because I don't have as many tables.

I think you can def do better. Try hidden essence and wicks. Sometimes I feel like vendors located in certain areas are more expensive just because the area is. So like they could simply be charging more because their neighborhood can afford it. Just a thought and something that i've noticed throughout this planning process.

Peonies are only in my BoK and im not willing to vary on that. its the only thing im 100% firm on.

I got a quote from another florist for $3,500.. HUGE difference!! im actually very annoyed by the big difference, esp since they were suppose to be giving me an industry deal (I plan events now)
