So we finally are getting flowers! We gave ourselves a 2K budget. Went to a florist that is on here, and that was recommended by my mom's friend, who seems to know everything having planned 3 weddings already.
We are having 12 high centerpieces with candles my bo-K MOH bo-K 4 Bridesmaids Boutineers for FH, his dad, 6 Groomsmen Corsages for my mom and grandma rose petals, aisle runner display for lobby display for sweetheart table decorate cake
For 2250
Does this seem right?

yea that seems good. My mom is a florist so i cant go by my flowers cuz shes doing them for me but that is a good price for all of that :) hth

That does help! I had it in my head no more than 2K, and we are a little above -- but that was with negotiating!!! He originally said 3K, we said our budget is 2K, he said 2500, FH said 2250, and he said OK. It was crazy -- I just sat there like I was watching a game of ping-pong! I don't know much about flowers, couldn't even tell you what kinds of flowers were in these centerpeices, but I looked at his work, and was drawn to a few, an he'll be making me samples on Sunday. Nothing like waiting til the last minute!
Lucky you -- your mom is a florist! Your wedding will be so stunning!

Sounds alright to me! Just demand to see your sample before you give the downpayment, that's what I did and it really gave me confidence I was choosing the right florist!
That seems right... I had a few more flowers- but low CP's and mine was a little less. I know the high CP's were approx $75 more for each (if I remember correctly) so that would make sense.

everyone thought that the flowers were going to be the easiest part for us...we took FOREVER deciding! i guess its like a photographer having to pick a photographer for his wedding.....you know too much that you are even more picky!
Im sure they will be beautiful!

That sounds pretty good! We are having 18 CPs and 8 BM bo-ks, but low CPs, and not having the lobby or sweetheart table, and ours is just under that.
