No idea what to budget for a florist.

What do you think this might cost?

I'm not picky on the type of centerpiece flowers, just want something colorful. Something like this:

Where is your venue?

I got a great deal on flowers. I used a preferred vendor of my reception hall. They are located in Babylon. You could pay anywhere from $1,000-$4,000 for what you are looking at. Shopping around is key. I talked to a few florists and I didn't care for any of their 'attitudes'. This is why I chose the one we went with, she was the only one willing to listen to my ideas and work with my budget.

My venue is Flowerfield. We are going to Bayview Florist this weekend. I hear they are on the more expensive side, but they are a family friend of FMIL. Hopefully they will help us out!

I really would like to shop around, but FH is intent on using them because they will be at our wedding...I see his point... but ...aggghh...

Yea, you might end up having to use them if your FMIL gets upset if you don't!!

We used Argyle Flower Shoppe in Babylon... not too too far from Smithtown...

If you're on a budget, getting quotes from other florists will be ideal. Try Hidden Essence. Michelle is amazing and great to work with (I had a vision and she got it perfect). I also like that she posts all of her samples and weddings on facebook so you can see her recent work.
