So past weekend I went to two florist appointments: Flowers by Burton and Black Dahila..I just got quotes back from one of them since we had a short appt due to time constraint..a bit disappointed they are both more than our budget. Flowers by Burton was over by $500 and Black Dahila $1500. Our budget is $3k. I have two more appts this weekend (Colonial & Flower by Brian) hopefully better luck at one of them.
This is what I want: 1 arch for ceremony 8 high centerpieces (roses, orchids, hydrangea, stock) 9 low centerpieces 1 centerpiece for card table 1 Bridal Bouquet 1 Toss Bouquet 1 MOH Bouquet 4 Boutainaires 1 MOG Corsage Flowers for flower girl to toss, flowers for cake, and flowers for bride & groom table.
Anyone have another other florists to recommend that you think will be within my budget? TIA

Try Hidden Essence. She was less than both other florists I went to and Michelle is so nice. Definitely recommend checking her out.

I wound up booking with Burton's after going to Distinctive and Flowers By Brian. I'm not getting centerpieces and Burton's was the only place that did not seem to mind. Distinctive and FLowers by Brian were not happy that I was not getting centerpieces.

I'm so scared to go see florists, with the amount of guests I have and # of tables/bridesmaids...I feel like it will be impossible to stay within my 3k budget!! Good luck and keep us posted!

I am using Westchester Floral Decorators they are in Pelham. They do amazing work and they have great prices. I know they are not on Long Island, but talk to Danny he is amazing.
