Florist Rave - Verbena Designs
FH and I met with Jennifer of Verbena Designs last night and I just wanted to say how great we think she is!!! We were running late because of traffic on the LIE and got there about 25 minutes late to our 7pm appointment. She was VERY nice (I called to say we'd be late, but still).
She is a VERY personable lady and listened to everything I wanted and made some GREAT suggestions for different things. We already met with FBB (Lisa) and FM (Barbara) and they were very nice also, but they kinda just heard my general ideas and then worked out a price for us. Jennifer at Verbena made some suggestions for vases to use and colors etc.
When she worked out our quote, my heart sank because I really liked her but it was just out of our budget. She asked how the price was in terms of our budget and I said, honestly it's too much. Is there anything we can do to lower it? Immediately she made some suggestions and was able to bring us closer to our #. I then told her our budget and she worked with us until she got us to that #!!!!! I also feel like she did her best to give us quality stuff for a better price (so she swapped out a $$$ flower for a $$ flower etc., but not for more filler or whatever).
They also only do one wedding per day so I feel like it will be EXTRA personalized attention. We are going to keep our next two appointments next week just to see, but we were really thrilled with the service at Verbena. Jennifer was a doll!
