Florist - reviews
So we saw a total of three florists and found our centerpeices!! I know flowers well (I worked at a florist for 3 years) here's who we saw:
James Cress - who I just could not stand, the woman was rude to me and rushed me out (the appt. lasted 10 minutes) she knew I knew flowers and just told me to tell her what I wanted and then refused to even discuss flowers or options. She also quoted me insanely high prices.
Honey Suckle & Roses - she comes to your house for the appt. which is pretty cool. However, she was 45 minutes late (she got lost 2x - but not a big deal) she had nice stuff but we just didn't have a connection with her and she kept trying to insist on colors we didn't want. The pictures she brought with us were very dated (from the 80's & 90's). BUT I do know she does good work b.c. I know someone who used her, she just wasn't right for us. Her prices were not terrible either.
Roots, Flowers & Treasures- this was the first place we went to and fell in love with them. Cori is so nice and will totally do whatever you want and she is soooo helpful. She gave us an amazing price too! We went yesterday to see our centerpeice and FH was even in awe with it!! We couldn't stop talking about it, we asked if we could take pics with our cell phones to show our parents and she took her own camera and took them and said she would email them to us with our contract!!
I felt like she just totally knew what I was looking for and how I felt about my flowers, I was really worried about the flowers b.c I knew what I wanted and didnt know if I could find someone to do it for me. (I couldn't use the florist I used to work for b.c. they closed down).
