Florist Trouble...Centerpiece Pics with Roses?

So...I think I should have heeded the saying of never hiring friends/family when it comes to things you are going to be particular with.

We're using FI's good family friend as our florist and I'm worried....really worried. He is not a wedding florist and doesn't seem to 'get it'.

To avoid having a centerpiece that looks like it belongs at a retirement party, do you girls have any pics of LOW centerpieces (preferably oblong) that have roses in them??

I have been scouring the net and am coming up blank!!

Mine was the second picture with the daisys, but you can do it with roses, like the first pic.

I thought the roses were really pretty too. I would have gone with the roses, if I didn't love daisys so much

Here's an idea of ours...roses are in with other items... don't mind the silver poles... this CP is part of a larger one, but we're just getting the bottom...
