Florist-VIPClub

Hey! I am getting married at the V.I.P Club in New Rochelle, and I was wondering if any Westchester brides can help me with florist suggestions...I know about Diana and Arcadia, but if anyone has found a hidden gem that is fabulous and cheaper, I would love to know. Thanks and Good Luck to all!

I'm a Westchester bride as well! I was stuck choosing florists my RH picked out for me. So I visited Forever in Bloom and House of Flowers. House of Flowers was way over priced and the guy was very condescending. I told him what I had pictured and not only did he not get my vision at all but he acted like every decision I made was either wrong or a miracle that I could come to that conclusion on my own without his help. At Forever in Bloom, while they are on the expensive side as well, they were a lot more reasonable and the guy was honest and help and could see what I wanted right away. We ended up booking them and so far we're really happy.

Hey I am a VIP CC Bride! I too was looking for a florist in the Westchester area but the best thing I could have done was go with John from Flower Michelle in LI. He is the best, sweetest man you will ever meet and his prices are much better than anyone I met with in Westchester. He really came through for me with the look I wanted. I told him I wanted a whimsical look for my reception and whimsical is what I got. You can't go wrong with John.

My FH's godfather has a florist shop in the Pelham Bay/Throggs Neck area of the Bronx (across the street from the Westchester Square stop of the 6 train). He does Westchester weddings all the time. It's a small family-owned and operated business, and he gets VERY good quality flowers.

The owner is John (he'll be away for the summer, so his right-hand person is Joanna). The store is called On the Square Flowers (click the link for contact info).

Tell them Anna and Peter sent you .

I am also a VIP bride. I havent looked at Flowers yet but if anyone gets good prices or ideas please share. Also who did you ladies book for photography? If it wasnt someone from Westchester, did you have to pay a traveling fee? I got the post card for Giovanni while I was at VIP but havent been able to find any info about him. Anyone see him or book him for photos?

I am having my wedding at Beckwith and all my vendors are from LIW. They are sooo much cheaper then ones in westchester since I did price comparisons. I am paying the normal fees even though they are from LI.

Giovanni is extremely expensive. I also called H&H and was not happy with their service over the phone. I'm looking on LI as of now. There are some really wonderful places farther north but they were more expensive...but very very good work.
