Florist........Am I being paranoid? UPDATE - John just FM me and he's awsome!!!!

A few weeks ago I told all of you that I received a call from the business mgr of Flower Michele that, Mike, who I booked my flowers with quit and took all of the info with him. She actually thought my wedding was in a few days. Anyway, I faxed over my copy of the contract with them that was made with Mike and haven't heard anything since.

It's been bothering me though. So I just called and told them my story and asked to make and appt, which they gladly gave me with John for next week.

But now I'm thinking am I just being paranoid? Should I have made this appt? I mean they have the copy of the contract that I faxed them. I don't want to bother them. But I'm honestly a bit freaked out that b/c he left and took all the info with him that my flowers will get screwed up. Any suggestions?

UPDATE: Well girlies.......John from Flower Michele FM me and he is awsome. He said he saw my post and wanted to put me at ease. He told me not to worry at all and he's totally looking forward to meeting with me on Friday!

i think if the meeting will make you feel more secure, then you should go with it. i know i'd probably have a nagging worry in the back of my mind too ...

You should ABSOLUTELY go!!! Listen, not only is this your wedding day but ....you are paying good money for thier services. I would go just to square everything away. Make no appologies for your actions. It should be them appologizing to you. And who knows- I have heard excellent things about them- maybe they will do a little something for you.

Why would you even fathom the though that your bothering them? Val your nuts. Go to the appointment, and meet with John. He's wonderful. PERIOD. No worries, your day will be splendid! It just stinks that Mike left. I have a feeling he left the business because John is favored. Thats JMO. But anyway, no worries honey. They will make good on your contract.

Hon, John will welcome you with open arms... don't worry about 'bothering'him..... I am sure everything is fine but I would go in and talk with John personally.

I think if you are worried you should definitely have this meeting. I dont think anyone at FM will think that you are taking up their time, they want your flowers to be perfect for your day just as much as you do! After we went there and booked and did all of our arrangements I think we walked back in about 4 times before we finally left, I would meet with them and just make sure that they have all the things that you wanted and the way that you wanted it

you are absoultely not paranoid - dont worry about bothering them - that is their job, to reassure you that everything will run smoothly the day of. I think yiu should definitely go and just get everything in order with them so you will feel more at ease

I had a freak out florist post too-before I even started looking at florists and John Fm'ed me to give me his advice...you can tell that he really loves what he does-which is nice and that he cares about the people he does work for!
