Please help! I am getting married in November of this year. I do not have a florist yet. I know my colors are fall (yellow, orange, white, and brown) My MOH is wearing brown. I don't have any other BM. I just need my bo-k and MOH bo-k. About 5-6 boutioners, and 3 corsages. Can someone help with quotes or where to go? When should I start shopping around for florists?

The good news is that since you arent ordering a ton of flowers you have time, also unlike a band which can only play one wedding a night a florist can do multiple weddings.
I am using Pedastals, friends have used Flowers by Michele and Flowers by Brian and they were great also.

You still have time. don't worry. I just booked with Pedestals this past Saturday. I also heard good things about Flowers by Michelle. I met with Flowers by Brian, but i was not impressed. I got a better price with Pedestals. Good luck! They have evening and weekend appts if you can't go during the day.

I heard really great things about Fleurisima in Farmingdale. You should check them out. I don't know prices but I was told that they are reasonable.

Find a florist close to you or your reception hall...smaller local stores tend to have better prices, especially if it's for a small order.

Burtons (Im using them) Pedastals Flower Michelle Florisian Deisgns byRose Flowers By Brian
Start setting up appointments to get quotes.
ETA: Whole Foods and Stop and Shop also do flowers and offer great prices!

I highly recommend Verbena designs. Do you need centerpieces also? If not and you only need bouquets and bouts. then I would just use a local florist. But if you need reception and ceremony flowers then I definitely would go see Jenn at Verbena.

I'm using Flower Barn in Seaford. I'm having a simliar color scheme, fall colors, and Mike was very helpful with this! I thought they were reasonably priced and I'm not having too many flowers.
A friend of mine also used a place called Masters. She paid less than $1000 for a similar amount of flowers.

I used Pedestals. You should meet with them they are great. I dont think you will have a problem finding someone, dont stress HTH

My sister and her FH used ************* in Woodbury. They loved the people, the prices couldn't be beat, and they are very professional. you are the center of attention there. Good Luck!
