Florists

I wanted to start calling florists up tomorrow and schedule appts to meet with them. I just don't know what to do as far as colors. Do I need to pick out the bridesmaid dresses first and then meet with a florist? Do I need to go there with a vision in mind or will they be able to help me?

Are there any florists you can recommend that are reasonable. I don't want to spend a lot for something that will die the next day. PLEASE HELP!

I went to pedastals, they were so helpful and nice. I did not know the color for my bridesmaids before I went to my florist appt. but it did not matter. They assured me when the date got closer and I knew the color, we could make decisions.

Michelle from Hidden Essence is great! She came in 1000 less than everyone else.

I have them on my list to call. My friend used them for her wedding last year and they did a great job. Are they reasonable price wise? Do they provide a quote based on type of flowers you want or it doesn't matter?

Black Dahlia is who I'm using. they met my budget and gave me exactly what I wanted and are very nice :)

Don't forget your local florists! We are using Colonial because they have been our family florist for years. We feel very comfortable with them

Which Colonial? I was going to look into the one in Ronkonkoma.
