florists suggestions

what experiences do youguys have with florists...any warnings? recommendations? can you bargain with them a lot? did you present them prices ? or tell them what you want first?

DEFINATELY BARGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bargained with ALL of my vendors, trust me it was definately worth it...

I booked with Flower Michele, HIGHLY recommended from many ladies on here... They were actually the only vendor I didnt bargain with because of the two test roses I got...

warning on stefans! do not go with them! complete liars, even after contracts! do no take chances that they will have 40 other weddings on that day that they consider more important than yours. as a result, your flowers will get made too early. Your wedding will be put on the back burner by them. You will feel unbridal by their treatment.

Sept20yay, I understand you had a bad experience with them, but I know of alot of other girls that had a good experience. I already booked them, and now I am nervous & I already put money down and do not want to back out now. I also know of other florists that have good reputations but also messed up. I think unfortunately this happens. I am very sorry that this happened to you!

I'm using Pedestals and could not be happier. I wsa def. able to bargain with them. I would highly recommend them. I think they are a vendor on this board.

My aunt will be doing my table arrangements and my mother will be doing the bouquets.

My aunt has her own business, she only does wedding flowers. Flowers by Rosemarie. Many girls on this site have used her and were very happy! If you are interested, I will give you her info. Just FM me.

If you are in Suffolk county I highly recommend Tributes Floral in Medford. Lisa has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Her prices are great and she gives you a really personal touch. I couldn't be happier that I chose her. Good Luck!
